of person that stands by your side through thick and thin, good or bad, always with words of wisdom and encouragement or a witty comment. I remember when I was doing clinical rotations in Chicago in 2010, Thanksgiving was right around the corner and she knew it would be my first Thanksgiving by myself without friends or family. She hopped on a flight and made it out to Chicago just to spend Thanksgiving with me, to ensure that I wasn't alone for holidays. Like the saying goes friendship isn't a big thing but its a million little things!

Being Khushbu's best friend I've seen numerous sides of her from the best to the worst but it wasn't until I saw her and Rahul ogether for the first time that I truly saw her glisten. There was this sincere look on her face that showed she was truly happy and at peace; that all her problems and worries had just seemed to melt away. At first I couldn't believe it but once I took a second look, it confirmed that she had found "the one."

No major event has happened in my life in the past 10 years that Khushbu’s has not been by my side. We've shared tears of joy and tears of sorrow over the years.
